So today I was thinking about books. Yeah yeah I know that not everyone out there is a bookworm but well...I am. So I thought I'd share some of my fave books and review them for you so that maybe like me you might find your family in a book.
Okay so these are my top 5 books of all time.
1.FanGirl by Rainbow Rowel
So this book is pretty much the coolest thing ever. It A doesn't involve a dystopian society. These kind of books have taken over every shelf in the bookstore and lets all admit that it can get annoying always reading the same kind of thing. So here is a shocker, this book is funny, truthful and seemingly effortless to read. It focuses on Cather, the main character and narrator of this book and gives us her experience when she goes to college. She is faced with a lot of hardships the first of them being that her twin sister Wren chose not to have Cather as her roommate. Then there is also the fact that Cather is quite shy and also doesn't know how to behave herself and make friends because she always had her sister to rely on. Furthermore she is a fan of Sam Snow, a very popular book saga about a magical universe kind of like Harry Potter meets Twilight, and adores writing fan fiction something her english professor thinks is like stealing and also the fact that her sister with whom which she used to write grew away from it and now Cather feels abandoned, hurt and very lost. However, romanticism as always also plays a good part in this novel. All in all this is a great book and one of my faves ever.
2.The Fault in our stars by John Green
Okay, so I couldn't not mention this book which has made so many teens blubber like babies. I mean lets be honest how could I not mention it. It is one of the best love stories out there and has a not so happy ending still I'm sure most of still dream of finding our own Gus who will whisk us off our feet and takes to magical love universe. Fine! I'm sure he doesn't actually exist so at least I have the book and the cinematographic Gus i.e Ansel Elgort to comfort myself. Yeah I have nothing more to say about this book if you don't know what it deals with you're seriously out of touch from the known universe. If you don't then go read then watch the film and you'll know the sweet torture that is TFiOS.
3.Dead Beautiful by Yvonne Woon
Okay, so my friend Chér is the one who introduced me to this marvelous book. Seriously AWESOME.
So it does kinda resemble Twilight in the way the love story happens and also for the fact that it deals with the Undead but other than that it is different. So here the main character is Renee Winters a seemingly normal girl with a normal life until she finds her parents dead in the woods and her world is overturned forever. She , you see, has always had an affinity to death and seems to always find her way to a dead animal something which will be later revealed in more detail. After her grandfather once again enters her life as her legal guardian he sends her to Gottfried. A different school. A school which will help her find out who she really is and also find her soul mate. Seems gripping right? Well I can assure you it is.
4.The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
These books need no introduction but what I will say is that I A loved them and B the universe and the events were a bit farfetched but still it was an awesome read. i enjoyed every bit of it and I'm sure I'll end up reading them again in the near future.
5.The Harry Potter Saga by J.K Rowling
So again these books need no intro so here is what I think. Harry Potter is immortal no matter how much times I read these books I will never get enough. The story is just gripping and beautiful and magical so I couldn't not mention them. Plus quick shout out to J.K Rowling who has made a fortune by doing what she loves and she still never forgot that there are others around her who were not as lucky and for helping those and knowing where she came from really shows what an amazing woman she really is.
So these were some, a very small bit of my fave books. I hope you enjoyed this list and I'll see the next time. Bye.
Love Ver.
