It is getting harder to post and not because I don't have any ideas but because I don't have enough time. And I'm not the only one. Time is the only real mesaurement in this world. True there are meters and kilograms and whatnot but they are not real. Time is the only thing that really bears witness to our existance. Without other means of mesaurement we still exist but if we take time out of the picture than we never existed and nothing that surround is real. Also the only thing that is really precious in the world ... in our world is time. So all that existential rambling was just to say that lately I have been short of time and by lately I mean the last 3 to 4 months and this due to the fact that my finals are almost here and I have been studying like crazy and if I get a free hour I'd rather spend it enjoying the world around me than stuck to a screen. See you on May 22nd ^^

Aren't we all the same...All Human?
We should be living in a civilized world. A world that deems everybody equal. Even if we look different we are still the same. Now I believe that, but not everyone does.
Conflict based on discrimination and race has always been there. I, however, feel that we should have come a long way by now and should be able to accept each other after all if we were in that situation wouldn't we want to be accepted? Now I realize that some of this conflict is too much and action needs to be taken. An example of this is ISIS. What do they think they're doing by resorting to such violence they are only fueling people's hatred toward them, their "religion" and their race. Because of what they are doing millions of innocents are suffering the consequences. It is for this matter that I appeal to you. Think differently. Accept the fact that no matter what we look like or what we believe in we are all the same all equal. Be accepting, live and let live. What such extremists are doing is wrong but we shouldn't put everyone in the same boat. We need to realize that stereotypes are wrong there is good and bad in everyone and in every country, culture, etc. We cannot condemn someone for something they have not done. We need to accept. We need to be human and not become monsters too by returning the bad that has been done to others, innocents.
This might be cliche but as Gandhi once said: "You need to be the change you want to see in this world."

Korean Makeup
Lately Korean culture has received a great boost and become quite popular. This because of:
(a) Technological advancements
(b) K-Pop ie the famous Korean pop music
(c) K-dramas....I might be slightly addicted

Okay now for my take on it.
So starting with a clean face apply moisturizer.
Then follow up by using an illuminating base/primer. A good one I like is the L'Oreal Lumi Magique.
Now either apply a BB Cream, or spot treat any problematic areas or apply a foundation that has a dewy finish. For this look we cannot use powder or anything matte. However, if you have oily skin apply a little of translucent powder on your T-Zone.
How concentrate on your brows. If you feel yours are quite good than good for you I however need to fill mine in. To achieve a softer look use powder. The I generally tend to also use a tinted brow gel in a shade that is lighter than the colour of my brows.
Now moving on to eyes. First use a primer or a good concealer on your eyelid and follow in with a light sparkly or pearly colour such as a champagne or a soft pink. Also add a bit of a taupe or browm colour in the crease BUT keep it light.
Now add eyeliner. They tend to flick theirs out. For a sexier look do a cat flick for a more innocent look drag the line slightly downwards.
Add a coat of black mascara and after it dries apply false lashes if you want to.
Now using the same illuminating primer or a liquid highlighter highlight the cheekbones and any other feature you would like to bring out.
Add a soft pink or coral colour on the apples of the cheeks, preferably a cram blush.
Finish the look off by using a tint/stain/lipstick at the center of the lips and blending it slightly SLIGHTLY out. You need to create a soft gradient effect. The lip colour can either be pink,red or orange, as these seem the most popular colours.

ManiMonday1
So this year I decided to differentiate the content I post. One of the things I wanted to include was ManiMonday were I show you my week's new diy manicure and describe how and what I did to do it.
This week I eanted to experiment a bit so using a dotting tool I created a dripping paint design on my pinkie and a flower and two dots on my index finger. As for the rest I painted them a nice metalic green. Also after the designs were dry I used a top coat to protect my design and as for the others I used two coats of polish.

Update...with a twist
I haven't written anything in a while. I'm sorry but I was really busy during December with schoolwork and family stuff and all that good stuff. Okay so it's 2015!!! Wooow! I wanted to write to give you a quick update on how I'm going to start posting so I'm going to upload a post on every Friday starting from the 16th of January so yeah. I am going to try to vary my content and have loads of ideas for the new year so keep tuned.

Day and Night
Hey there! How are you?
So... I really felt like posting something even if I'm super busy so A while back I wrote a piece so I thought why not post that, it is called Day and Night. Here goes...
Day and Night
The morning crept closer and on the horizon you could see the colours starting to show. The red and orange were so bright and so beautiful that you got lost looking at them. It is as if you could see Apollo flying across the flaming sky in his golden chariot bringing about the day and lighting up the darkness.
As the colours once again tinted the sky in hues of red, they knew it was the end. The day had come to pass and now that the sun has set the moon rises and takes its place. But unlike the sun which is forever alone the moon has brought her friends the stars and together they shine on.
It is not much but keep in mind that I'm still learning. I know it is no excuse but still try to understand that I'm trying to achieve my dream and that I'm working hard to do so so respect that if not me.

Friends...
Hey! So I'm back from Italy...I had a blast and didn't want to leave but at the same time I missed my family and friends here in Malta. Hmmmm what shall we talk about let me see....Okay got it lets talk about friends.
So this subject has been explored and discussed quite a bit...understatement right?! So lets start with what a friend is. So a friend is a person no matter the age that you feel confident with, someone whom you trust, whom you know is always there for you no matter what. Now that we established that we need to distinguish between real friends and fake ones. I personally have had a fair share of both so here goes.
Real friends don't judge you. They always try to help you and even if you fight you always forgive each other. Real friends don't talk behind each others' back. They always stick together and experience life's up and down together. They are rare but once you find them they will stick around.
Now, on the other hand fake friends are your "friends" for their own benefit. They use you and when they obtain what they want they ditch you, throw you away. Even when you're together you may think they're honest but they don't make you feel special or loved. They judge you harshly and seek to undermine you.
Okay are you with me so far? So lets proceed.
Now let me give you a couple of my own experiences with fake friends. So when I was younger i.e. a couple of years ago I had these group of friends whom I loved very much and I thought they loved me but it wasn't so. They seeked only to become more popular and wanted to look good in the guys's eyes so since I apparently didn't cut it they simply ganged up on me and ditched me. I was broken hearted and thereafter I made some bad choices in my life. I now know that it wasn't fault but theirs even though back then I used to blame myself. I felt useless ugly and a loser. I cried myself to sleep and didn't want to talk about it to anyone so I kept it all in. What they did to me was wrong. They left me broken and bleeding but I should have opened up and talked about my problems instead of keeping everything inside. However, this experience has helped me become the person I am today and even though it hurt a lot I am now stronger for it.
Now let me tell you how I met my soul mate, my best friend ever. She is beautiful in soul mind and body and I love her a lot. We are like sisters. We do everything together. We love each other and we can't live without one another. We used to know each other before but we were never friends. We talked to each other but never really felt that connection until around a year ago when the school systems brought us together for our English class. When we saw each other we felt a sense of relief and we immediately clicked. From that day on we became the best of friends and we are still going strong. We have comforted each other, we have laughed together, cried together and we have been there for each other every single day. That is friendship. It took me a lot to find the one person who loved me and understood me, who saw me for who I really was and even though I'm not perfect she loved me for it and I do too. It was a difficult road but I finally found her and I am never letting her go no matter what.
Okay so those were my stories. I know that it is hard to distinguish between the real friends and the fake ones but once you find that person or those people who truly get you you'll be the happiest person on earth. Trust to get there it is hard and tedious and you'll end up broken hearted more times than I can admit but don't give up cause there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
